"At long last this painting of Anthony is complete - Anthony came to the studio yesterday and we were able to finish it off. There are now 5 finished paintings in this series with the 6th, the Strongman, underway. I toyed with several ‘names’ for the Lion Tamer : Brian Kramer, Ryan Maimer, Claud Hans… in the end we decided to just go with the job description rather than anything else! Anthony supplied the harness, c*ring and Prince Albert, and his hair, which was green at the start is now pink and lilac." Binnie, Oct 8, 2021
