"Along with the portrait of Troy, this painting of Spenser is newly finished and I feel they make a nice balance, while not being a pair in the strict sense. Both guys are really wonderful models, and a couple of posts back you’ll see Spenser modelling for the Naked Drawing Group on Saturday. I like the spontaneous feel of these, even though they were both painted over three sessions each, and especially Spenser’s tattoos make me smile."
